According to Google, SANS, OWASP, Kaspersky, Sophos and many other sources, Obfuscation of malicious scripts have been reported as one of the top Internet security threats in recent years because of their ease of use, multiple applications and wide range of users/victims.
During the presentation, we will discuss attackers' obfuscation techniques in real-world malicious JavaScripts that can evade Anti-Malwares and go totally undetected. Also we will discuss the effectiveness of these techniques on the 20 most popular Anti-Malware software and how shocking this can go.
Based on the results, we will have suggestions on how to protect yourself against these attacks, also we will go through the future approaches that can enhance detection effectiveness.
